On Wednesdays, the My Faith and Fitness Blog will feature a passage of scripture and questions to encourage us to reflect on how we can each live a life that pleases God and allows us to fulfill the plans that God has prepared for us.
1 Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
3 whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others;
4 who despises a vile person
but honors those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
and does not change their mind;
5 who lends money to the poor without interest;
who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
Whoever does these things
will never be shaken. ~ Psalm 15: 1-5 (NIV)
How can we ensure that our Christian walk is blameless?
In what ways can we encourage others to do what is righteous? How can we model righteous behavior?
What measures can we take so that we speak the truth in love? How can we recognize that truth when we hear it from others?
What areas in our lives need to be fortified so that we are not shaken?
